FRT is helping to develop effective media messages regarding the use of soil inoculant in soybean and groundnut production. The messages will begin airing at the beginning of November. Two working groups are addressing the communication needs farmers who will adopt this practice to increase their yields. Today’s work is being done by a variety of agriculture expects so that the messages are accurate, effective and up-to-date.
Above FRT’s Radio specialist Clement Shema presents the inoculant use programming model from last year to set the stage for this year’s strategies at the Program Agriculture Development Committee on Inoculant. He says that to develop effective messages, we need to address urgent needs to communicate to farmers.
